Global Command and Control Systems Training

DigitalNet will provide training at any mutually agreed upon Government site. DigitalNet does not offer facilities for this type of training.

Course Descriptions

  1. UNIX - Maintaining competitive and state-of-the-art offerings, DigitalNet can provide UNIX training to fulfill the Government's most challenging needs. The UNIX curriculum stresses effective implementation through Government hands-on experience with UNIX Version V software. DigitalNet' curriculum is composed of the following courses:
    • UNIX Fundamentals for Programmers
    • Shell Commands/Programming Language
    • Using Advanced UNIX Commands
    • UNIX System V Administration
    • UNIX Operator Commands
    • UNIX System Programming
  2. Database Management Systems - These courses are designed for personnel requiring skills in system requirements analysis and for data processing professionals and end users involved in the development of a relational approach. Available DigitalNet courses include the following:
    • Structured Analysis and Database Design
    • Relational Concepts and Data Modeling
    • ORACLE Relational Database Programming
    • ORACLE Relational Database Administration
    • ORACLE Relational Database for End Users
  3. Languages - These generic courses introduce the fundamental concepts of multiproduct programming languages. Current course offerings include the following:
    • C Language
    • C++
  4. Fundamentals of Electronic Data Processing and Basic Business Programming.  This course is for students who require an understanding of data processing fundamentals and basic programming skills.

Course Fees
Charges for these services are $1,786 (FY04) per day (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, including one hour for lunch, Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays).
